Childhood Obesity Prevention

Childhood Obesity Prevention

Childhood obesity should always be in front of mind because it has become a serious problem around the world. The health risks that accompany obesity are causing children’s mortality rate to rise.

It isn’t like other epidemics that can be resolved with a vaccination or with pills. Defeating childhood obesity requires a lifestyle change.

Remember obesity does not discriminate; white, black, brown, young or old are as susceptible to obesity as any other person. Failing to know the child obesity prevention would be a serious mistake.

Living easy is what made a lot of children and adults overweight in the first place. Losing and maintaining weight is a lifetime commitment. You will have to seriously alter your unhealthy lifestyle into a healthy one. The same goes with obese children.

We’ve all heard it before but it bears repeating:

1.       Exercise regularly – - engaging in physical activity increases metabolism, so your body will burn more fat.

2.       Eating the right food – - healthy meals and snacks, low fat food rich with nutrients. Eating pizza and burgers should be limited – - MODERATION
